Spinn are Vara Konserthus new artists-in-residence

Recently, Danskompaniet Spinn has started a collaboration with Vara Konserthus and is their new Artist in Residence.

Being an Artist in Residence at Vara Konserthus means that as an artist, for a limited time, you get the opportunity to deepen and test your production idea. This is a way for Vara Konserthus to create artistic development and new performances while the audience gets a chance to get to know an artist a little more closely.

Spinn och Vara Konserthus will produce a production called Svansen , which is aimed at children and young people. Vara Konserthus Helena Helén, producer for children and young people, looks forward to the collaboration:
– We are so happy that Spinn is coming back to us for another residency. It’s also extra fun that Spinn has an exciting collaboration with renowned choreographer Minna Krook. She is an interesting choreographer of performances for children and the fusion between her and the dancers in Spinn will be exciting. We will have the premiere of the performance in Vara and then we will show it to all the municipality’s preschools.
