Next week, from May 27th to 31st, we start work on Spinn’s next production Moby Dick. Italian choreographer Chiara Bersani will then start working together with dancers Izabell Makiela, Felicia Sparrström, Annika Vestel and Britta Kangas. We are also delighted to be able to announce that the premiere for this piece will take place during the festival Oriente Occidente in Rovereto, Italy in September 2020. The festival is also co-producing the performance.

The first time we met Chiara was during Rovereto Choreographic Lab that took place in Rovereto, Italy in September 2017. The lab was part of the EU-project Moving Beyond Inclusion and gathered both dance artists and administrative staff from the participating project partners. In November 2018 we worked with Chiara during a couple of intense days in Spinnstudion, and now it’s finally time to continue this work! More information to come during the year.
