On November 1 we have the great pleasure of presenting our duet Hannah Felicia when Region Halland invites to a training day at Falkhallen In Falkenberg!

During the morning there will be a practical workshop lead by Jenny Sandgren Wahlström and Ida Häggström from Språng. The afternoon starts with a presentation of the dance initiative Rum för Dans, followed by an introduction to Hannah Felicia and a subsequent fika with time to discuss and reflect on the performance. After this the participating dancers who will share how they came to be dancers. This will also be the first time choreographer Lára Stefánsdóttir sees the performance live on site!

“We’re so excited about Lára finally coming to Sweden! I think it’s going to be a beautiful meeting between the dancers and her. Especially since Hannah and Lára has never even met in real life. This will also be the first time that Spinn takes the stage at Falkhallen. I’ve been there on field trips and noted that they have an awesome dance venue, airy but intimate. And of course, dedicated technicians. We are so looking forward to presenting Hannah Felicia there!” – Veera Suvalo Grimberg

One in five has some form of disability. One in five doesn’t have equal opportunities to take part of culture and leisure like everybody else. The right to participate, both as a performer and as audience is a vital part of improving the living conditions for people with disabilities.

Therefore, Länsstyrelsen Västra Götalands presents two inspirational days about accessible and inclusive culture and leisure. Focus for these two days is the right to culture and leisure for people with disabilities and a number of organisations will talk about how they create an environment open for everyone – regardless of disability.

These to days is for anyone working as a civil servant, manager or politician in culture or leisure in municipalities or in region Västra Götaland. If you are working with issues such as human rights, accessibility, social sustainability or public health in municipalities or in the region you are also more than welcome.

Spinn will participate on November 11 at 11.35-11.55 with a presentation and an artistic element.
