Hannah Felicia at Showbox in Oslo!

On December 3, this fine duet will come to Oslo and the Showbox festival! The performance will be presented at 10am and 12.00am at Black Box Teater.

Hannah Felicia is about sisterhood and the relationship between two people. Or are we perhaps merely seeing two sides of the same person? That longs to be seen, accepted and loved.

Choreographer Lára Stefánsdóttir often uses the dancers own conditions as the starting point. During several years, she was artistic director and choreographer for Iceland Dance Company, and she has also been awarded several prizes for her own works. The music for Hannah Felicia was created by Icelandic composer Högni Egilsson, who has released music on celebrated record label Erased Tapes and created music for the interactive project Project XO for Sadler’s Wells in the UK. The sound design was created by Þórarinn Guðnason.

Klot & Klimat as fall-break activity on Styrsö!

Klot & Klimat as fall-break activity for students in middle school with Emilia Wärff, Britta Kangas and Annika Vestel!

We live and dream our blue-green globe.
Infinite in size and possibilities, and yet just a tiny dot in the Universe.
Our inner compass leads the way out into the vast space.

The workshop Klot & Klimat (Globe & Climate) deals with issues about the climate and how we together can make big changes, even with small actions. We warm up and find our own center. Then we’re off to the Arctic where we gather on ice floes and meet Ursus maritimus, Pinnipedia and other animals.

We move on through the world that is at times both warm and cold, wet and dry, still and stormy. We talk about shared responsibility, think about how everything’s connected and how we together can make a change. Because together we are both strong, brave and inventive.
