Spinn Dance Company Joins the Carnival Parade at Göteborgskalaset with Samba School A Bunda!
On Sunday, August 30, the streets will come alive with color, rhythm, and movement as it’s time for the Carnival!
Samba School A Bunda has been active in Gothenburg since 1984 and works to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to participate based on their own abilities and circumstances. The Carnival celebrates community, where differences are seen as a strength.
During the event, you will also meet the Bergsjön Troll – a large character created by local residents of Bergsjön together with the association Meeting Plays and artist Kimzonite during Gothenburg’s 400th anniversary celebrations. Each year, the troll comes to life and dances with the audience, orchestras, and performers.
Join the parade and experience dance, music, and togetherness. Those who wish can also take part in a samba workshop and move to the infectious rhythms.
Location: The Carnival Parade starts in Bältesspännarparken and continues into Trädgårdsföreningen, around the playground, and back again. The event concludes with a dance try-out session.
Time: 12:00–13:00. The entire event lasts one hour.
A warm welcome to all!
