Nu är Spinn tillbaka redo och peppande inför en höst full med spännande möten både inom landet och utomlands.
At the end of August, parts of Spinns ensemble will head north to continue the rehearsals of the enchanting duet Hannah Felicia. Hannah Felicia is about sisterhood and the relationship between two people. It is a performance that works both in a conventional stage setting with lighting or in daylight. This time Spinn’s dancer Hannah Karlsson, guest dancer Marlene Bergqvist, and Spinn’s artistic director Veera Suvalo Grimberg will meet at Balettakademin in Umeå, with choreographer Lára Stefánsdottir joining digitally. The rehearsals are part of Danskompaniets Spinns work with sustainability and long-term artistic development. After this phase, Marlene will share the role with Felicia Sparrström.
Workshop
The week ends with Hannah, Veera, and Marlene leading a workshop for everyone curious about dance and movement. Say hello to your body in a safer space filled with dance and improvisation. Everyone is welcome, regardless of previous experience. During the workshop, participants will also learn a choreography from the performance Hannah Felicia, which explores closeness and distance to ourselves and to one another.
