On Nov 17, Spinn’s artistic director Veera Suvalo Grimberg visits Oscar Fredrik’s church and their event Thank god it’s friday – a slightly different afterwork.

Veera is holding a danceworkshop in the church at 18 – 19. Say hello to your body and explore movement with others. We meet in a safe room and no prior knowledge is needed.

Veera is the artistic director and founder of Danskompaniet Spinn, but also a curious choreographer with an interest in forklifts, excavators and dancing firefighters. An opinionated and minority language body artist who wants to remind everyone of the right to express themselves through dance.

Schedule for the evening:

 5 pm: Soup in the parish hall

6-7pm: Creative movement led by Veera in Oscar Fredrik’s church

7pm-8.30pm: Just being in church, coffee, resting, dancing, reading, writing

8.30pm: Sharing and devotion

Leaders: Maria Fredriksson and Åsa Dungården

The cost is 100 SEK.

The evening is a joint event with the SENSUS study association
