Ett scenrum i blått dunkelt sken. I mitten av bilden står vita skärmar som påminner om berg. Mellan skärmarna ringlar sig en cerise, stor fluffig svans. Bakom bergen står en oval formad mörkblå fond. Fotograf Hedda Gullander. Scenografi Karin Agélii

This autumn, Spinn has launched the method development project Svanslandet. The project is inspired by the performance Svansen and has resulted in a tactile workshop.

This project aims to stimulate multiple senses, explore objects, and enjoy moments of playful interaction. The target audience is children ages 3–5 years, who participate together with staff or other adults. Throughout autumn, Spinn has met several groups of children in Region Västra Götaland and developed the workshop based on these interactions. Read more about Svanslandet here.

Participants in Svanslandet is scenographer Karin Agélii, reference person Wispen Sjob, audio description consultant Mia Harry, material usage researcher Marie Peny-Dahlstrand, constructor Klas Grimberg, technician Simmel Åslund, as well as Danskompaniet Spinn’s dancers, staff, and artistic leader Veera Suvalo Grimberg.

Svanslandet is carried out with support from the Stiftelsen Längmanska kulturfonden, Göteborgs Stad samt Västra Götalandsregionen.
