INCLUDE – seminar on the theme of inclusive dance in Finland
On October 7-8, Danskompaniet Spinn’s artistic director Veera Suvalo Grimberg and dancer Emilia Wärff will participate in the seminar Include – Inclusive Dance Seminar in Espoo, Finland.
The seminar runs from October 7-10, 2024, and explores what inclusive dance is and can be. Include is aimed at all professional dancers who practice or are interested in inclusive dance. The seminar days are free of charge.
On October 7, Veera Suvalo Grimberg will participate in a panel discussion on the theme: What is inclusive dance?

On October 8, Veera Suvalo Grimberg and Emilia Wärff will lead a session on the theme The Swedish Perspective. How do you succeed in the professional dance field? They will share methods and tools that have been used by Danskompaniet Spinn since its inception in 2010 to the present day. They will also discuss how the Swedish performing arts field has slowly become more inclusive.

The INCLUD project is a collaborative project coordinated by Live Foundation and Vocational College Live. The ideas and objectives are discussed with Danskompaniet Spinn, Gothenburg, Sweden, and Fine5 Dance Theatre, Tallinn, Estonia.
