This past week, work on our upcoming performance Moby Dick has entered a new phase. Yesterday we started a three-day long stay at Redbergsteatern in Gothenburg where have now started work on lighting the performance. The lighting design is created by Emily Lavebäck who is a trained lighting designer at Stockholms Dramatiska Högskola. She has previously worked as stage/lighting technician at GöteborgsOperan and with Clowner utan gränser to name a few. We asked Emily what her thoughts about the work with Moby Dick.

”I am very much looking forward to the collaboration with Danskompaniet Spinn and Chiara Bersani. It’s an intriguing and charged piece that’s taking shape. Right now we’re at a stage where we investigate oceans, gazing, bodies and landscapes. We’re trying concepts to learn how to proceed with the project in August and I’m very much looking forward to see what will eventually be presented at Oriente Occidente Dance Festival in Italy in September.”
