Next week, Veera Suvalo Grimberg from Spinn and Malin Enberg from Producentbyrån are going to London to visit Candoco Dance Company in order to attend the last network meeting for the EU-project Moving Beyond Inclusion. The meeting in London is about looking back at the project as a whole and of course to start preparing the final presentation of the Moving Beyond Inclusion project.

Already now we can see that Moving Beyond Inclusion has lead to shorter routes between us in Spinn and a number of European performing arts organizations. The network that the project partners constitute has become incredibly important, not least in regards to each partner’s extended network, which has very generously been shared with the other partners in the project.

The ongoing discussions that has been an integral part of the project has touched on subjects such as artistic choices, touring possibilities and the unique problems that integrated dance companies of then face. It has also become clear that, although the projects partners differ quite a lot from each other, we all face similar problems. This ahs enabled us to all function as resources for each other, and we are incredibly happy to have been a part of this very exciting and rewarding project!
